I just finished with a closing on one of my listings. It was a short sale, this alone tells you it was not easy. I listed in in August 2009, and had it under contract shortly after that. I then put a backup contract on it. The primary contract was not able to close but tried up until it expired the beginning of April 2010. I then processed the backup and was able to close today. During this listing I have had to work through lots of different things. It changed loan services in between, We had a break in, we were running close to foreclosure, we had five differentshort sale negotiators, I had to do repairs to the house myself to meet appraisal requirement. I had to pay the electric & water bills myself not knowing if I were ever going to make it to closing. I even had to work through two large snow storms. This one was very challenging and now that I got it closed, it is very rewarding. I feel like I can get anything to closing after this sale!

Aaron - that's dedication to pay for repairs and utilties out of your own pocket....way above and beyond in my book! Congrats!
Aaron: Great job! Congrats!
Way to get the deal done...hopefully your next one is a little easier!
There are no ugly sales. No sale is too small and a sale is a sale. Remember this one when you have an easy one and they balance out.
Aaron...Congratulations on the closing. The good news is that it is over. I admire how you stuck it out. I cannot say I would have the same patience.
Short Sale ... I knew it before I opened your blog - they are certainly a challenge! - Congrats on your sale
Sounds like you went the "extra mile" to get this one done and over with. Good for you.
Congrats on your closing. Sounds like you REALLY worked for this one.
Congratulations! Now you'll be really happy when the easy ones close.
