Home Show Advice
At the beginning of the year I wrote a post about participating in my first ever home show. As the year comes to a close we are starting the preperation for this years home show. Last year I was able to fly under the radar, I did some to help set up, I worked a few hours in the booth and I was done. This year my luck has changed. At todays sales meeting I was picked to co-chair the home show committee. I am lucky enough to be working with two other Realtors that are great friends. I am actually a little excited about this opportunity. Does anyone have some good ideas about making for a successful home show. I would like all the the help I can get. Thanks

I've done a number of Consumer Shows and have always find that a large TV showing video or a moving slide show always makes passers by stop, look and listen. Plus, be sure and have lot's of FREE give aways, with all your marketing info printed on them.
Hi Aaron!
Just think about what made you stop at a particular booth! Freebies, for sure. Candy too. Then, info
on a product we're getting interested in. Games of chance draw crowds. One table that really got a lot of
attention recently was a real estate office offering ONE FREE KEY made on the spot. That was a huge hit!
Register for a drawing. Photograph in a funny costume. It all comes back! Elizabeth
Aaron,
I have great success every year at the home show. The best thing I can tell you is that have to be agressive and talk to as many people as you can. Dont sit down. As a matter of fact get rid of the chairs that are there. Give stuff away. Last year we gave a car away. Call me if you want to know where to get the insurence policy from.
