The County I live in has a program, ran by the Chamber of Commerce, called Leadership Berkeley. It is a program made for business and community leaders. To get into the program you have to be nominated by someone in the community. You then have to fill out an application, and then a committee confirms or denies each applicant. This year I was nominated and accepted into the program. I am looking forward to such a great opportunity to all the upcoming lessons and networking opportunities. I have been actively involved with the Chamber for a few years now and have been very interested in this program. Tonight is the first time I will meet the group, its orientation night.
